various nothings

Angie and I held a yard sale this past  weekend……now normally our yard sales are finished up on the first afternoon, with literally hundreds of people stopping by…………but this weekend we had all of 9 people show up….we still did okay, I brought home 40 extra bucks, but we were really hoping for sales like we had before……….sigh

we’ll try again later on this summer when people get bored with nothing to do.

On a happier note, Ang and I had a blast simply talking and hanging out for two days straight. I think we need to go find some more junk to refurbish to fill up the gargantuan driveway at Angie’s house so more people show up…..the one thing I thought would sell the first day is now sitting in my hallway again taking up room……….

I mean, this little phone hall table is just cute….a bunch of people (well maybe 4 of the 9) liked it but didn’t have the funds to make the purchase……..
I did manage to sell a few of the weird vases i decorated……….
after we packed everything back up again, I got busy at my own house clearing weeds from the gardens and taking pictures of new flowering plants that are suddenly blooming all over the place.
The camelia in the back had gone ballistic and has at least 40 blooms on it…….
my roses are all ten times bigger and have ten times the blooms as last year (amazing what pruning does)
And today, I am taking life easy…….I spent the morning on the front porch swing just watching the world go by………..thinking about nothing and everything……..
And have come to the conclusion we all need to go camping back at Roman Nose so I can sleep in a teepee…………
