Share Your World, Sept. 25, 2017

I can not believe it is almost the end of September. It feels like the year is zooming by so quickly. We have reached the last Monday in this month and it is time for Cee’s Share Your World.

share your world challenge

What is your favorite outdoor activity?

Camping. I don’t even have to think about it. I would rather be camping than almost anything else. I’ve written about it several times over the past couple of years and will probably write more next month (when we go CAMPING AGAIN!!!)

tent and camp kitchen  I love my tent!

In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?  I have to drive.  I hate being a passenger in anyone else’s vehicle. For one thing, i am a good and defensive driver. I can not bear to have someone drive me that is NOT a defensive driver. I constantly want to tell them to watch out or pay attention or just simply smack them when they do stupid things while driving.

If you could have three wishes granted for you alone, what would they be?

Wow.  Three wishes just for me huh? Okay, here goes

  1. I want to have free cataract surgery and never have to wear glasses again
  2. I want 3.7 million dollars. That way 1 mil can go to Angie and Garry, 1 mil can go to my sons, 1 mil can fund a sober living house for a few years and the .7 is so George and I can have a paid in full retirement.
  3. I want, more than anything else in the world, for Mr. Trump and all of his minions to be impeached and found guilty.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

A pin on Pinterest actually inspired me.

I wanted a crafts table.  I have zero disposable income.I needed to blend those two statements into a viable alternative for the 400.00 dollar one I REALLY want.

I searched all over town and found a black and fake wood tv stand…it cost me 4 dollars.

So, I sanded it.

Then I took off the back of it.

Finally, I painted it white.

I have a two drawer file cabinet the same height and depth of the tv stand which will be the other side of the craft table.  now all I need is a sheet of plywood cut to fit the top.  It will be sanded, painted and screwed into both sides. And, finally, I will have a “home” for my sewing machine, materials, paints, canvases, etc.

  1. All good wishes to have. 🙂 … I love what you did with the craft table you found, and customized! Looks amazing! … Have fun on your camping trip coming up.

    1. thanks, and thanks..still have to add the top to that table but it is sized and painted. Can barely wait to finish up!

  2. Very crafty. The one thing I want most in the world before I die is to see Trump dethroned and in jail for the travesty he has inflicted on America.

  3. Great idea to repurpose the tv stand!

  4. Such a great post…and, your creativity is a marvel to behold…and, if I could make wishes come true, I’d certainly make yours a priority 🙂 Thanks for sharing 🙂
