Cee’s Share Your World, Oct. 2, 2017

Monday and Cee’s Share Your World Challenge just go together.  Here is the challenge for October 2, 2017.

share your world challenge

As always (at least for me) Cee’s questions are in a pretty color and my answers are in boring old black.

If you were given the opportunity to ride in a helicopter would go? I had a ride in a helicopter. I don’t remember it though as I was quite busy dying from a heart attack at the time. From speaking with the crew later on (I went to say thank you) I had a thirteen minute ride in which my heart stopped twice, the second time as we landed on top of the Austin Heart Hospital. I had no heartbeat at all for the next 7 minutes. God, in His infinite mercy, allowed me to once again live with the assistance of a wonderful surgical team.

What are some of your favorite type of proteins to eat? (meat, seafood, eggs, soy, cheese, nuts) Can I get away with saying a reece’s cup? It has peanuts in it and they are proteins……no? oh well, I tried.  Okay…chicken and lobster..or peanut butter.

What would be your preference, awake before dawn, at dawn, or awake before noon? it depends.  If I am camping, then it is before dawn. Early enough for me to start a fire, make a pot of coffee and find a good place to sit and watch the sun rise.  If I am at home, it’s more likely to be much later on in the morning.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination. Ehab Shawky, writer of Islamic Methodologies Made Easy. He called me a “searcher”…….in other words I don’t just accept as fact that which I read, or hear, or even see sometimes.I search for answers with an open mind. I appreciated that more than I can express.

  1. I’ll go camping with you! Provided bacon and eggs are available for breakfast – nothing like them outside cooked on a fire. I can smell it now, dang it, look what you’ve done! Now I’m craving it, all of it!

    1. i always have bacon and eggs…or sausage, eggs and cheese breakfast burritos! come on,, the more the merrier!

  2. You are one lucky lady. I’m so glad you are alive and one who seeks for your own answers. 😀 Thanks for sharing.

  3. Great answers. Especially your answer to number one a perfect blend of humor and gratefulness.

    1. thank you so much..for reading and for your kind comment.
