Cee’s Share your World Challenge, a weekly event that I honestly look forward to writing. Cee asks some odd questions, insightful questions, silly questions. Perfect for me to answer actually as I can be all those things quite easily! Here we go then…Cee’s Share Your World.
Where do you eat breakfast?
Well, heck. That assumes I even EAT breakfast. I hate eating when I get up. I’d rather wait a few hours (sometimes days) before I have to think about eating. I could easily live off the “fat of the land” for a week or so before I had to eat something.
When I DO actually eat breakfast I am usually out camping somewhere…so I’d have to say I eat at a campsite! Now lunch and dinner are at my kitchen table which is currently sitting in the dining room…and no, that doesn’t make it a dining room table. It is an old 1950’s lino covered aluminum number like there was on “leave it to Beaver”.
I don’t actually OWN a dining room table….even though I own a dining room. I used to own one, but I sold it when George and I were going to move to Guatemala…and I never bought another one…the table, not the dining room.
Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want have a evening with? Larry Paul Brown, Steven Sawyer, Elaine, Ehab Shawky, my friend Angie and Shay. Oh yea, I want Scottie there too. Scottie, you are not an afterthought you are the gorgeous young man that i focused on the face instead of the name so hush! I can only imagine the conversations we could have. We’d be laughing and argueing with each other in a matter of seconds and Rose Elaine could immortalize us all on canvas! Woot! Heck, I need another guy to even it all out….GEORGE! Yes, my sweet hubby can come! oh wait…I do need another lady….rats, this is probably why I have NEVER had a successful dinner party!
If you could be a tree or plant, what would you be? ummmmmmm. nope. sorry. I have been sitting here thinking about this and I just can’t (well, won’t) go there. there isn’t a single plant I would be. I refuse to give up my mind and it’s oddball way of thinking for any plant fantasy. So, I’d be a worm before a plant. Even worms think about at the very least other worms. Plants don’t think at all.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
I appreciate my community. I love the fact that when the people here see a need, they go out of their way to provide it. This week it was a healthfair with free testing for all sorts of problems, and free flu shots. no asking if we could afford it or not, they just served anyone who wandered in through the doors of the convention center and happily helped however they could.
