NanoPoblano, day 4

Ok, so the challenge is to write every single blessed day for a month. Now I have completed monthly challenges before so this one shouldn’t be to difficult…yet..I keep seeing that little chili pepper in the badge and thinking Hot Stuff.  It’s a chili…they are hot.  Except the pepper is supposed to be a poblano………it’s in the name.  This is causing my right brain to have a conniption fit while my left brain is saying “oh, calm’s just a monthly challenge”…and the right once again speaks out with blather…”it’s a poblano pepper, Suze..write about peppers!. Peppers are cool..and green..or maybe yellow. I like yellow. Bananas are yellow”.

What if I don’t WANT to write about peppers?

Or I might write about them if my right brain would just shut the heck up for a minute or so.

It’s sometimes difficult to be me…………this wanting to “have my cake and eat it too” sort of thing tends to drive me (and poor George) half crazy.

I woke up this morning with a terrific blog post idea.  It was THE BEST blog post idea I have ever had, and I could hardly wait to get started.  It was magnificent…incredible…world-changingly amazing! I felt like a genius when I thought about this idea!

And I haven’t a clue what it was.

I remember waking up with the idea and saying to myself “OH my Goodness! How wonderful would it be if I posted about”…and the rest of the idea has flushed itself down the drain hiding somewhere in my left brain. (Oh cool. that rhymed).

Now, I haven’t a clue what to write about and I have this challenge post to write.

Oh well. This is going nowhere…fast.  To quote Scarlett O’Hara…”I’ll think about it tomorrow”.

  1. I like scattered thoughts. They speak to me. 🙂

  2. Sounds like my brain…
