Cee’s Share Your World, November 6, 2017

share your world challenge

Monday and Cee…it’s just one of those pairings that seems to be universal now..like coffee and cream..or donuts and cops. OK, I’ll stop. To the questions of the week we go!

As always Cee’s questions are a pretty color.

Would you rather take a 2 week vacation with an organized tour or take a cruise of your choice?

I have absolutely zero desire to go on a cruise.  I can not imagine anything worse actually than being stuck on a boat traveling slowly somewhere. I’ve been on several organized tours and the first thing I learned on them is it is nice for someone else to have to deal with making the arrangements for hotels and food.  Everything else is negotiable on an organized tour. If you want to go to the Dead Sea and everyone else wants to go shopping, by George, your Dead Sea trip is quickly organized for you and off you go.

It also costs far less to go off on an organized tour bus than the local taxi’s…I don’t do local buses anymore. Not since ours was blown darn near to Hades in Bethlehem one day…so it is either an individual driver or a tour bus for this one.

Did you like swinging as a child? Do you still get excited when you see a swing? No.  I absolutely HATE swinging…unless it is just an easy movement on my porch swing. I stay far far away from swingsets. I am pretty sure I loved them until the age of five when my brother started terrorizing me on one He ran up behind me and shoved me so hard that the swing went sideways and started to twist around while going up way too high. I (of course) fell off and ended up concussed and scraped every last skin cell off my legs and arms.

What is the most important thing that you ever learned ? (I bet it’s not something you learned in school) I, and I alone, am responsible for any emotion that I feel. No one, and I do mean NO ONE, “makes” me feel or do anything. My emotions, and my decisions are mine alone.

  1. Great post, although I have to admit I laughed at the swing story because it was very dramatic scraping all your skin cells
