the sound of silence……………….

Silent Huh?  That’s not something we have around our home…if we did I think I would freak out. let’s face…I definitely would freak out.

Parents long for silence, but when it occurs immediately freak out as it always means trouble.

Pet parents do the same.

It became silent last night at our house….I loved it for a few minutes until I realized the dogs and cats were not in the room…and not in their sleeping spots in the living room.

I knew I was in for trouble.

I started to find the evidence of their silence………………

and then…………

i only found ONE of the four culprits…………..and he was pretending to be asleep and oh so innocent………

The others didn’t bother showing up until this morning and all acted as if they were little angels and starving to death.

I think parenting CHILDREN was easier.

  1. Came home from work one time and the cats had trailed the roll of top all over the house, one long trail!

  2. Oh my, naughty kids! They better hope Santa doesn’t bring them coal this year!

    1. I am pretty sure they will get their alaskan salmon from santa this year…he seems to think it is funny when they destroy my home!

  3. Naw, you can’t turn children over to the dog pound……or can you?

  5. I’m sorry but I laughed hard at this. Almost spit my coca cola out. I know all too well, when the pets get silent, it’s never good. Sorry you weren’t invited to the toilet paper party.

    1. Now if you had also peed a bit I could give you the triple P award for your reaction to this post!
