What a great way to start the year off.
What one word describes you best?
I really want to use a positive word like “determined” or “focused” or “intent”…but being totally honest I’d have to say Stubborn.
Yea, I like to think of my stubbornness as being positive…it means I accomplish things, but it is actually more of being bull-headed and wanting everything MY way.
So long as I use my bullishness for “good” everything is okay…I have, though, used it for not so good but completely selfish instead.
What is set as the background on your computer?
I don’t know. Now I have to go look. wait a sec.
RoseElaine’s painting of little purple flowers. Want to see the original? Go here.
She even called the post “Susan’s Flowers”! How cool is that? I fell in love with a picture she had painted, told her I was dying to have it and she sent it to me..well, a digi thingy of it.
I had it placed on canvas so it actually looks like she came to my house and painted it for me. it is hanging in my bedroom now, and the original digi thingy was turned into my background on each computer.
If you have been to a foreign country name those you have been too?
I visited Mexico for an entire summer at the age of 13 and fell in love with travel. I have since been to Israel, Egypt, Ukraine and Guatemala.
I visited Israel twice, and Mexico many times. All others just the once. I would love to live in any of them except Ukraine. It snows there more than it does at home, and I just can not deal with more snow.
If I ever win the lotto, you can lay a bet that I will move to Egypt.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
Inspired me? Wow….ummm, the frigid air coming from the frozen wastelands of Canada…I have finished a quilt in record time, an afghan and have cleared out my drawers of all things summer in a quest for woolies and sweaters in an effort to stay warm!
