I want a gnome

When I saw the word on the daily prompt was  carve , I immediately thought of my neighbor’s son, Lee.

Lee is an amazing young man…he has almost no education since he dropped out of school in the 8th grade, but he has taught himself to do so many things he is in constant demand as a handyman.

He’s fixed my sewer lines, electric, plumbing in the bathroom, outside faucets, built a fence, built a small shed…………the boy simply does it all.

But his LOVE, his passion, is carving.

Here is just a small example of the things he has carved for his mother.  I am hoping to get him to create a gnome for my garden this year…if he has time from the three almost full-time jobs he has and the hundreds of part time ones.

    1. He said it took him about a year to carve that owl. I LOVE it, and would go swipe it but I am pretty sure his Mom Brenda would slap me silly. lol
