It’s Tuesday so it must be……not eggrolls!

Yea, I have no idea why I titled this post that way.  I suppose it is because it is cold outside and I think the cold has seeped into my brain thus making it more illogical than usual.

Today is actually taco salad at a friend’s house…complete with dogs begging and lots of laughter.

Before I get there though, I have to gas up the truck…….and mail a package to freezingland. Yes, I do, every now and then, mail things to people in foreign countries.  I once mailed a case of nutter butter cookies (biscuits to my Brit friends)…….the cookies cost me 12 dollars and the mailing cost 75!

Here’s hoping the mailing of a…………….no I’m not going to tell what it is. I figure the recipient shall be blogging about it when it arrives and I don’t want to spoil the surprise.

Plus the laundry hasn’t finished yet…I am waiting for the washer to walk across the floor first………then I can throw everything in the dryer and take off.

My strategy for the day is simple…do what I absolutely have to do then go play! (yes, I forgot the word of the day two days ago….so shoot me!)

it just occurred to me that I will have to mail the package to freezingland either before I take the dogs with me to my friends or after I bring them home. They are both too adorable to leave in the truck while I post it…someone would steal them. So, what to do, what to do…………….food first. Then I can bring the lil buggers home and go back out into the freeziness that is sitting on Enid today. And, yes..the mailing of the package is that important.

  1. You, Madame Suze, are one mysterious lady! I know you follow many other moose heads, but the fact that you linked The Cove to Freezingland intrigues me highly!

I guess only time will tell the secret behind this post… But I am definately sitting on the edge of my seat! 😉

    1. well…the box has been shipped…customs forms all completed (why are Canadian customs forms so screwy anyway? they wanted to know what i was shipping! It is a surprise, but surprise wasn’t accepted as contents!!!) be prepared to take photos to prove that a moose-flag-lover, cat aficionado, boo-boss-dweller gets it, okay?

      1. I can’t promise for all the other moose-flag-lover, cat aficionado, boo-boss-dwellers, but if anything gets in my mailbox, WordPress might explode! 😛

  2. As I read this post, I couldn’t help to think – your strategy (by sending that package) was to help others! Have a great day Suze!

    1. thank you…..yes, I am helping Cyranny to find her inner comic character!

  3. Obscure can be fun. Thanks for the reminder of nutter butter cookies–haven’t had them in decades. The memory alone was a good gift!
