I have to brag for a minute!

Everyone that follows me knows I adore the paintings by Rose Elaine! And if they don’t know, then they haven’t been paying attention!

This afternoon I ordered my second painting from Rose’s ETSY shop!

I am so excited!

Now, Rose lives in the UK and I live in America and she doesn’t mail her prints here…but she DOES send a digital download when you purchase a print if that’s the way you want to go…so I did! And I have a company…well I don’t HAVE it, I just USE it that makes canvas prints from a digi download!

I already have one of Elaine’s paintings…it’s lovely and looks like she painted it just for me as the colors all go with my bedroom colors!

Isn’t that great?  That lilac-y/purple-y color matches my bedroom walls exactly! I LOVE it….

So when Rose (yes, I interchange her names…isn’t that why she has two of them?) posted a picture of a field of daisies, I went nuts! I LOVE DAISIES!!!! Heck, one of my favorite movies is “please don’t eat the daisies”……..anyway, I ordered it!

And then I sent the download to my “easy canvas prints” company to get it printed on canvas……….. You want to see what I bought?  Go HERE!

So, now we wait.  It will take about 10 days to get my canvas from the shop….which gives me just enough time to finish George’s shed, so I can empty out the closet work-space in my front room, which then means I can paint the back closet wall a dark turquoise in preparation for my canvas!

  1. Beautiful!!
But . . when do we get to paint George? And do we get to vote on what colors to make him?

    1. ohhhh, I never thought of that! He’d want to be olive drab..I bet he’d look great in pink and orange though

      1. Or maybe we could do an olive drab base with pink and orange camo designs . .
        But . .
If you take bids from your readers for either the option to choose the colors and/or choose colors and do the painting of George ..
You could make some real money 💰

      5. If you put a photo of him on the screen and people could pay to paint over that photo . . then showcase those paintings on their blogs as well as yours!!

  3. I now have Doris Day singing in my head! Great movie, haven’t seen it in years. My uncle was a stuntman in a terrible British film of the same era called ‘An Alligator named Daisy’, where he had to wrestle a giant alligator, but I guess I’m heading off track again.

      1. It really is dreadful, it starred Diana Dors, the UK’s answer to Marilyn Monroe – but only by a very long stretch of the imagination!

      4. I have to say…I FOUND IT! on Amazon of all places…and it is winging it’s way to me as I type! It was incredibly expensive though…broke the bank on this one…..$4.44 total! Yes, I KNOW I should never have spent so much, but I figured it was for an Iconic film from the age of the dinosaurs, so it was worth it! lol

      5. Ha ha! You’re in for a treat! I hope you’ll post a movie review on it. “An Alligator named Daisy, featuring Jane’s Uncle Ernie!” (Is it me, or is this post getting more and more surreal?)
