Isn’t it organic????????????

Okay, fess up. How many people just sang “Isn’t it organic” like the old “Isn’t it romantic” song???? NONE? Seriously? Not even one person?  sigh…well darn. I did…

Okay, fine. back to product reviews then.

This review is for Prince and Spring Organic Coconut Oil! It comes in a box of 16 “single serve’ packets. It can be used as a cooking oil or a coffee creamer. The really neat thing about coconut oil is that it can be used for so very many things besides cooking.  It is the basis for soaps and lotions, can be a furniture polish or a lip balm.

Anyone else remember the Old Saturday Night Live skit?  Dan Ackroid and Gilda Radner arguing about whether or not the floor polish is a dessert topping…classic. Okay…on to the video…

  1. Coconut oil is a banned substance in our house due to allergies

    1. I am sorry for that. With all my allergies, I would think I’d be allergic, but for some reason I can use it with impunity.

    2. Never heard of an allergy to coconut oil. What kind of reaction did you have?

      1. My wife is allergic to coconut and its derivatives; she gets intense migraines. She has the same reaction to vinegar.

      4. It’s sad as she loves coconut and it’s one of those things that you don’t realize is in everything until you can’t have it.

  2. Looks good for a moisturizer for chapped hands, but I don’t think I’d put it in my coffee. .. Oh, I don’t remember ever hearing that romantic/organic song, so I didn’t sing along. 🙂

    2. Don’t knock it til you’ve tried it. Recipe for “bulletproof” coffee-1 tbsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp grass-fed butter (Kerrygold), hot cup of coffee, tsp of Stevia, tsp of Ceylon cinnamon, buzz it all up in a blender, Ninja, bullet whatever you got, pour into coffee cup and enjoy! Never go back to sugar-laden creamer again!
