isn’t that a Byrd’s song?

you know the one I am sure…..”Churn, churn, churn”?  I vaguely remember it from my old teen years…well, I wasn’t old DURING my teen years, it’s just they are so far away it feels like they are old.

Did that make any sense to anyone else?

No?  sigh……….

.

Not my fault.  I am trying to carry on with a fever of 102 degrees…….is that Celsius when it is a fever or am I stuck in Fahrenheit? it sure feels like it might be Celsius…….oh wait. Is that higher or lower of a number than Fahrenheit? now, I have succeeded in confusing myself.

I wish I hadn’t already written the Latin word of the day….I have a bunch of them floating around in my head that need to be spouted forth somewhere. I have a feeling George would want to duct tape my mouth if I started it up with him.

As it is he gave me a weird look when I said I am Morbidae…………he said “you are dead?”  I said “no…sick”  he said “then you are Morbis cordis”…I said, “No I am not…well, okay, yes I am but my heart feels fine right now. it’s my head”

George, being Germanicus Amouridae (my German sweetie) said “Suze, your head? Then aren’t you Morbis Apoplexia Cerebralis?”

I said, “NO. That’s if I was a guy. I am still a lady”…..at which point he just giggled! Yes, my hubby giggled…..nothing worse than having a fever and now a headache and having a 60-something German giggling at you!

THIS is what happens when Ms. Wright enters my brain and starts stirring up the long-ago high school latin class. I’m doomed.

  1. OMG Suze, are you sure it’s not rigor mortis? “turn, turn, turn” for every thing there’s a season. 102 is not good for seniors like us.
