hauling trash

I just arrived home after a trip to our local “dump”.  Normally people drag off everything they no longer need or want and throw it out at a dump…..I go to search for treasure.

I know, it sounds insane.

OK, I will admit…it IS insane.

But if you could see the things I see you’d realize there is gold in them thar hills of detritus. This is just part of the things I have hauled home.

  2. It’s amazing what people toss out, isn’t it? We scrounge through piles when it’s junk day around us. A little TLC and, voilà! 😃

  3. Very cool restoration of the ‘finds’! We don’t go to the dump here, but we’ve found cool things in the dumpster behind the house, before. I love finding things like that. 🙂

  7. I found a rocking chair at the dump and was able to turn it into a double-boiler, with enough parts left over to make my very own working robot. That was SOME rocking chair…
