Since I have a room to play in……

I have been in super creative mode for the past few days.

I finished a quilt that now adorns George’s bed (yes, he stole it immediately!)

I refurbished a table into an ottoman for George…..

and this morning I traded out an antique end table that doesn’t go with anything in the house, with another antique table from Angie’s house that went with nothing in her house!

I also stained glassed the shed windows for George……..

okay so they look like crap from the outside, but the inside looks great!

Yes, that IS my bedroom television that disappeared!

OH, yea….I also took two old curtains that I disliked, cut them in half lengthwise, added ribbons I liked and “made” a set for the two windows in my crafts room…..

andddddddddddddd………………………….I finished a floral wreath to hang in the crafts room. I think that is it…except for making a blouse and repairing 6 scrub tops George had torn the pockets out of….yea. that’s it.

Now that the inside of the house is “done” I am moving out to the back yard. I need to dig up and transplant two climbing roses, level the ground next to the back door and set in bricks for a back patio area. That should keep me busy for another week or so.

looks pretty bad right now.ย  ย

Sounds like a good trade! I’m happy when I just pick up the house, and happier when I can actually clean any portion of it…it’s HUGE DAY when I scour the bathroom sinks, tubs, and toilets. Hahahahah. No room for creativity here. I enjoy yours. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. It does look neat! I got bored, so I dragged an old cabinet out of the hall that i was using as a “closet”, built in a wired shelving unit for a free-standing closet, added a bookshelf with little decorated shoe boxes on each shelf for toiletries, made a few curtains and hung them on either side……… I have a “real” closet!

  9. I love watching the way you “play” in your house and decorate it. I like to do the same thing in a similar way. No need for designer furntiture. Just creativity.
