Cee’s Share Your World challenge.

share your world challenge

If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?  You know, I have been sitting here staring at this question for about ten minutes now and thinking what would I want?  Nothing. Yea, that’s right. At first I thought “chocolates” then realized I’d be sick to death of them in about 20 minutes…then it was “Chinese food”…and the same applies.  I like a variety of things.  No one food would ever be enough and at the same time it would be too much if that were all I had.So how to answer this?  here goes…the kind of food I want an endless supply of is………..EDIBLE food! (got ya!)

List at least five movies or books that cheer you up.

Movies: The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (one and two actually), Burlesque, A Chorus Line, Wall-E, Mrs. Henderson Presents

Books: Midnight Confessions by Stephen Colbert, any work by Erma Bombeck or Dave Barry, any Bill Bryson book…

If you were a mouse in your house in the evening, what would you see your family doing?

One of the cats bearing down on me! okay, that wasn’t what you were asking. Generally George is working and I am either sewing, watching something or other on PBS or I am reading.  usually I am reading.  The dogs will both be wherever I am.

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

I SO appreciated the fact that my husband is a nurse and knew exactly how to take care of me when I threw out my back. I would have been in hospital if he weren’t here.

  2. I like your answer to the food question. Clever. The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Chorus Line are two of my favorites too.

  3. I just started watching Unforgotten and Last Tango in Halifax, but I’m waiting impatiently for Poldark! Erma Bombeck was great.

Ugh, I’ve been so busy I did not do the challenge yesterday-love your answers though! I have not watched anything on PBS except wait, isn’t Antiques Roadhouse on there? I used to watch all the kid shows on there when my kids were growing up.
I can’t think of anything for the food either except maybe eggs. Not that I love them but I need them and you can do so many things with them. So I would hate to run out/be without them.
The only movie that jumps to the front of my mind is Love Actually, best feel-good movie EVER in my humble opinion.
I don’t read feel-good books generally as I prefer horror. Sometimes I like hot Romance so maybe 50 Shades???
My dogs would find me reading, watching tv, crocheting or playing/reading/working on my iPad and Dave would be either doing the same or in the “man cave” playing video games or watching something HE wants to watch. LOL
I am appreciative my husband is back home, I missed him not being here for an entire week (even if I slept better) I prefer him be here to share his day with me. Yesterday he had the day off and took me with him to drive him around the golf course. I had a ton of work to do, but took the rare opportunity to spend time doing something he wanted to do, a fellow that joined us halfway through his game actually let me do his putts for him!!! So see, it paid for me to go as well! What a fun afternoon!
