Integrity

Integrity

Since Mr. Daily Prompter quit his job, several intrepid bloggers have taken up the gauntlet and taken turns posting a prompt for each day. They began discussions immediately upon the announcement that the WP peeps were frittering off to do other things..and began posting on June 1st.

You can meet the bloggers behind our daily posting here: Meet the bloggers!

The prompt for June 5, 2018 is Integrity.

I have found that my own words on this subject fail to impress as well as quotes from persons I have admired.

“Waste no more time arguing about what a good man should be. Be one.”
― Marcus Aurelius, Meditations

“Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted with important matters”
― Albert Einstein

“I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others, rather than to be false, and to incur my own abhorrence.”
― Frederick Douglass

“Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.”
― Martin Luther King Jr.

  1. Integrity, living with purpose and intent to always do the right thing, even when nobody is looking. Hmmm… some of these quotes you listed in this article made me scratch my head. It seemed the definition of intent was lost on a few of these individuals.
