Cee is back from her much deserved vacation and is again sending out wonderful challenges. I like the Share Your World the best…probably because I tend to babble and she makes me think.
As always, her questions are highlighted in a pretty color and my answers…well…aren’t.
A class you wish you would have taken?
Are you scared of heights?
Are you a good cook? If so, do you consider yourself a chef?
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?
I really wanted to take advanced basket weaving…..except I didn’t meet the entrance requirements……no, that’s a load of hooey. I don’t think there IS a class I wish I had taken and haven’t. I continue to take classes from colleges (usually online) as I am curious about thousands of varied subjects… if I haven’t taken it, I am probably signed up for it or it is on my list.
Only when looking down…..but then I think everyone is. Being up high doesn’t bother me as much as being up high with no means of control over whether or not I fall off. Pretty sure that equates to fear of falling instead.
I am a good cook. No, I am not now, nor ever will be a chef. A chef is paid to cook good meals. Some chefs actually get paid to produce a quarter ounce of something on a huge plate and get away with charging the equivalent of a small house for it.I have yet to be paid for even cooking a bad meal, much less a good one. I have no one style of cooking. I can cook Chinese food (usually szechuan), Middle Eastern with an emphasis on Israeli and Lebanese cooking. Italian, French (not too much..too many danged sauces), a little bit of German food (There IS the German/American hubby who likes his food) and Southern cooking. For those unclear about Southern cooking it means throw a couple of biscuits on a plate with the meal…lol
What made me smile? I PAID OFF THE HOUSE! Yep, no more mortgage, no more huge monthly bill. PAID IN FULL! What an incredible feeling that was…..and is!
