ignoring the blog again

Yes, I have been ignoring the blog.

Frankly I had nothing nice to say and whenever that happens I just..well….keep quiet. It saves a heck of a lot of wasted time just arguing.

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to spend the day with Angie..my “BFF” as the grand kids call her.  it was her birthday and we spent the day doing whatever we wanted. window shopping for an upcoming camping trip..buying inexpensive stuff that we might need someday..eating a decent lunch and not having to cook it.

Today, I spent that majority of the day out in George’s shed.  No, I wasn’t in trouble…I was organizing it so he could

  1. find stuff
  2. walk through without extreme bodily harm.

Angie came by and helped me put together two five shelf wire racks and organize the books on airplanes, tanks, ships, rockets, and John Glenn.

All of his completed models are now on display, his books for reference are all put away and organized by subject…the floor has a clear path and both stools are clear of empty model boxes so someone can actually sit on them. What a concept,m right? chairs for sitting upon! Who would have ever guessed?

In other news, a Vance air force pilot escaped serious injury by ejecting from his Talon training plane right before it crashed and burned in a small town fifty miles west of here. Speculation is that the plane sucked a few birds into its twin engines for a massive engine failure that was unrecoverable. The pilot is being cared for at Vance AFB Hospital.

In even more other news…the POTUS is still an asshole, the rebublicans, both senate and house, are still kissing Potus’ ass, and the country is well on its way to be being the second territory seized by the second soviet socialist republic.

  1. Poor George. He’ll never be able to find stuff he needs now that you have organized everything. Like many of us, you seem to be suffering cable new burnout. Only cure is a 2 week vacation to Tahiti. Or a no-return trip for trump to Russia. Yeah, I would forgo Tahiti for the latter. I’ve missed your blathering.

      1. i do indeed have news burnout. steve bannon on ari melber’s show did not help either. one word into it, voice recognition activated and a shoe went flying towards the television.

      2. Watched it too. I try to put all potential missiles in the closet. Such a despicable man trying to sound mainstream.

    1. i’ve missed blathering..I did label everything so George can find stuff….and then gave him a tour and pointed out the labels..and told him “see, this says books and those are books”. I hope he understood, but poor man, it might have been too difficult to comprehend. lol
