George just informed me that the Super Bowl game is today.

Frankly, the only “super” bowl I am interested in is the large mixing bowl I found at a yard sale.
It’s great…1940’s Harker ceramic bowl large enough to have two tons of popcorn served in…or a potato salad large enough for that silly football team AND have leftovers!
Yea, it is that big………….and I only paid 50 cents for it!
SCORE!
For those that don’t know…Harker Pottery started in East Liverpool (that’s in England for those who have no clue where The Beatles came from) sometime around 1840………so to find an English bowl in perfect condition at a yard sale in Enid, Oklahoma was just a bit wierd.
Weird or not, I am thrilled with this find…….and will soon be filling it up with potato salad…or popcorn. Just don’t expect me to be watching any other bowls in the near future..it isn’t gonna happen!
What a find indeed, and I bet worth a lot more than half a buck!
