Rory’s thought provokers…..

Haven’t done one of these before and I am sitting here bored waiting for cake number two to bake for the bloggers bakeoff…the first was a horrid failure that even I, with my extreme imagination, could not fix………..so I thought…why not? Just go and find the original post, copy those questions and participate nicely for a change…….

so, here it is……. Rory’s thought provoking questions.

At what point in our lives do you think we think we are good enough? I can only say what I experienced and not what anyone else might think…but I finally felt “good enough” when I completed my bachelor’s degree twenty years after first attending college. I dropped out my sophomore year and got married (like a complete idiot) thinking I could begin again in a year or so…that year or so turned into 20 years before I had a chance to go back again.

***

In life, what do you consider beautiful?  the laughter of children……..sunrise and sunset……a new mother holding her baby…..Geooge Clooney.

***

Do you think that when we dream, we can dream within a dream? But if you don’t dream, why do you think that is?  I suppose it is possible. I’ve had dreams where I said in the dream “I am dreaming” so maybe?????

***

How do you manage your stress or do you not suffer from stress?  I become very controlling…it never works and i inevitably screw something up but there it is. I behave badly.

***

Are there things or maybe just one thing you wish to achieve before you die? not anymore.

***

Some experience many things during their lifetimes, but do you think there is something that everyone should experience at least once?

***    lack of sufficient funds to manage from month to month. I am pretty sure I wish everyone with a high income would actually learn just what it means to be poor, to try to figure out what to pay or not, and how to feed their family on low wages. I think then the rich ones who seem to govern every country would be more amenable to creating change in society.

Are you afriad to be different? To stand out from the crowd, to push away your peers if needs be and say “I am ME!”  The only time in my life I was afraid to be myself was when I lived with an abusive husband. Since I found the strength to leave I have Never again been afraid to be me.

***

Which do you think is easier ‘to hate or to love?’  it is so much easier to hate. Unfortunately.

  2. Hey Suze, these were great answers and honest as well. I also agree with you on the so called ‘caring’ rich and politicians having a large taste of what real living is all about. Politicians here seem to think that everyone is lying about the very poor situation we are in, that the increased figures on food banks are just there to scaremonger, when the truth is scarier than that, because it is the truth.

    Great answers as said 🙂

  4. It’s always interesting to know a bit more about people. I loved reading your answers. Specially about the rich having to learn to live without money. A great idea
